Artists have long been inspired by Loudoun's serene landscapes and ethereal light. Galleries and museums line our historic downtowns, and there are annual tours of art and artisan studios in the rural west. Music, meanwhile, is the life blood of Loudoun, with every genre from rock and country, to pop, jazz and bluegrass offered at local bars, breweries, wineries and venerable venues such as historic Tally Ho Theater in the heart of Leesburg’s Arts & Cultural District. There is a thriving theater scene too, with everything from murder mystery productions at StageCoach Theatre  to an array of stage productions alongside art exhibitions at Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center. Over at the National Sporting Library & Museum in Middleburg hunt country is a stunning collection of equine-inspired paintings and sculptures that help tell the story of the county.
