Bordered by Maryland and the Potomac River to the north and east, the Blue Ridge Mountains (including a famous stretch of the Appalachian Trail) to the west and Dulles International Airport (IAD) in the southeast, Loudoun is a popular weekend drive destination from several major Mid-Atlantic cities and a busy hub for national and international travelers. Famously, you can land at Dulles and be sipping a Bordeaux blend at a Loudoun winery within an hour or two of arriving.
Loudoun is a year-round destination. When visiting wineries or breweries please call ahead or check social media to confirm hours of operation and policies related to picnics, pets, kids, large groups and events.
