Loudoun AIR (Artist in Residence)
Over the course of a week in 2024, music producer Todd Wright invited acclaimed multi-genre performer Terri Bjerre - Terri B! - to be an artist in residence and work with a group of Loudoun musicians and songwriters to write, create and record five original songs in four unique Loudoun venues. Inspired by some of the county’s most iconic settings – a winery, a church, a distillery and a horse barn – the project brought Loudoun stories to life one song at a time.
An accomplished chart-topping Dance Vocalist/MC/DJ, Songwriter and remixer, Terri B! is one of the most sought-after voices in dance and contemporary music. Her vocals have appeared twice on the remix board of the late superstar Avicii and she has collaborated with a who’s who in electronic music, including Laidback Luke, Joey Negro, Roger Sanchez and DJ Smash.
The Loudoun AIR program truly highlights the region’s vibrant music scene, with each collaboration creating an original piece inspired by the heart, soul and history of Loudoun.
