Loudoun Destination Restaurant. "Eat Drink Simply" - this is the motto at the Wine Kitchen and it permeates every aspect of this welcoming restaurant. Situated in a cozy King Street space in historic downtown Leesburg, the Wine Kitchen’s 40 seats fill quickly during peak dining hours. As the name implies, there is a strong focus on wine and guests can order from a rotating menu of over 40 wines either by the taste, glass, flight, or full bottle. Chef Tim Rowley takes advantage of local and seasonal products to create the menu at this Seasonal American Bistro. Although the menu changes regularly, a few dishes have gained such a fan base they have become staples on the menu. The patty melt burger is one such dish with its perfectly succulent double patty burger served crispy and perfectly seasoned fires. The dishes at the Wine Kitchen are small to medium plates, perfect for exploring the menu and sharing with friends. Owners Michael Mercer and Jason Miller are often visible in the restaurant. Whether they’re greeting guests or making recommendations on wine and food, their laid back, warm approach truly makes you feel like you’re walking into the home of a friend.
