Loudoun Destination Restaurant. What happens when the group that brought us Tuscarora Mill Restaurant and Magnolias at the Mill decides to open a pizzeria? Pizza perfection of course. Tuskies Restaurant Group has a reputation of leading the buy local movement in Loudoun for over 20 years and Fireworks benefits from these established relationships in the quality ingredients that top their pies. Nitrate-free pepperoni and sausage, organic tomato sauce, and locally grown produce are just a few examples of the high quality ingredients you can expect. What about the crust? Fireworks’ 700 degree wood-fired oven delivers chewy, bubbly, crispy crust nirvana. Located in the former train station in downtown Leesburg, historic photos line the walls, offering a glimpse into the town’s past. The deck outside is lined with flags from breweries around the world, indicative of the vast and global beer list the restaurant offers (12 beers on tap and more than 80 by the bottle.) Wine lovers can rest assured that there is still room left for an equally impressive wine list, highlighting local vintages. While we each may have our pizza preference (NY or Chicago style?), Loudoun has given its seal of approval to Fireworks for some of the best pizza around.
