OverviewCreek’s Edge Winery in Taylorstown is located along the Catoctin Creek. The building is an Amish structure, crafted with the best hardwoods and in the tradition of raised barns from years gone by. We have embraced the land and used natural materials throughout - local stone, black walnut from the property, hand-crafted metalwork. We partnered with the land instead of trying to change it, taking its cues and reducing our impact. Designing and building the winery has been a labor of love with extreme attention to detail. The interior of the iconic silo mimics the interior of a wine barrel complete with oak strapped with metal. The interior of the silo serves to connect the main level with the upstairs private dining area and the downstairs aging room and wine making operations. The exterior pays homage to the surrounding farmlands and heritage of the property. The spacious deck is perfect for lounging and taking in the views. The interior stone fireplace is cozy on cool nights or on lazy winter days. Every inch has been designed to invite you to come hang out for a while.
