It’s FeBREWary, which means craft beer lovers will unite to taste some of their favorite local brews along the LoCo Ale Trail but the fun doesn’t stop there! This FeBREWary, DJ Roche from DC101 will broadcast live for the #Thirstday event at three local breweries and we’ll end FeBREWary with a finale event; a taptakeover of Loudoun breweries at The Brighton in D.C. This is a craft beer celebration you certainly don’t want to miss! Here’s what’s on the schedule for FeBREWary:
On Thursday, February 8th from 3:00-7:00 p.m., DJ Roche from DC101 will be celebrating FeBREWary with a #Thirstday live broadcast from Lost Rhino Brewing Company in Ashburn, a 100% green energy company and Loudoun’s oldest brewery. Meet the brewers, tour the spacious brewery and taste great local beer, including the newest, limited release- the woody stout.
Located in downtown Leesburg, Black Hoof Brewing Company will host DJ Roche and DC101’s #Thirstday on February 15th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. The taps at Black Hoof are constantly changing and they proudly brew a variety of beers with an emphasis on German and English styles. While here, don’t forget to taste the Marzen, national award winner in 2014.
Join Roche and DC101 for #Thirstday on February 22nd from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Ocelot Brewing Company in Sterling where each beer is uniquely named after song lyrics from the brewers’ favorite artists. From rotating different styles of IPAs, lagers, mixed fermentations and barrel aged beers, you’re sure to find a craft beer perfect for your taste buds.
For the FeBREWary finale event, join Roche and DC101 on Saturday, February 24th in D.C. at The Brighton with a taptakeover from the LoCo Ale Trail. One lucky winner in attendance will win a pair of tickets to see Portugal. The Man that very night at The Anthem and even have a chance to meet the band backstage! The finale event is open to the public and does not require advanced tickets.
