Things to do in Ashburn
Sports and Entertainment
Ashburn Icehouse is Loudoun’s original ice rink; TopGolf on Route 7 lets you practice your swing – while drinking cocktails; at nearby iFly Loudoun, fly without a parachute in this indoor wind tunnel that simulates skydiving. The scenic W&OD Trail dissects the southern part of Ashburn.
Where to begin? From the original Ford’s Fish Shack (the best crab cakes and Bloody Marys this side of the Chesapeake) and the modish wine and small plates eatery AhSo to food from the sleepless streets of Thailand at Sense of Thai St and Indian classics at Rupa Vira’s The Signature, some of the finest restaurants in Virginia are here.
Loudoun’s first brewery, Old Dominion Brewing Company, opened in Ashburn in 1989 and while it’s no longer around, it helped inspired the county’s craft ale revolution. Multiple Ashburn breweries keep the flag flying notably Old Ox Brewery and the innovative Lost Rhino Brewing Company
