Just opened in Ashburn, Loudoun County, Virginia, Bourbon Bayou Kitchen is a strikingly contemporary 158-seat restaurant specializing in Louisianan and Cajun classics (fried alligator, Jambalaya, shrimp etoufee) alongside twists on modern American dishes such as a Grass-fed Drunken Rib-eye steak made in a bourbon sauce. (Rick Crowe of nearby DC Prime steakhouse is a co-owner). There’s a baby grand piano for live dinner jazz and a cocktail bar offering New Orleans cocktails such as the Sazerac.
