Loudoun County's premier parade is coming on Thurssday, October 31--the 63rd annual Leesburg Kiwanis Halloween Parade.
Starting at 6 pm over 100 police, fire, and rescue units, high school marching bands, decorated floats, classic cars, walkers, and more will make their way from Ida Lee Park to Safeway down King Street.
Thousands along the one-mile route will be entertained and delighted with candy and other Halloween treats. Please take a non-perishable food item for Loudoun Hunger Relief--their van will be at Ida Lee field and then proceed down King Street at the end of the parade to collect donations.
Registration is now open. Download the registration form from the website, fill it in, and email it back. Read complete details, and town and police requirements, updated-for-2019. Leesburg Police close King Street between Battlefield Parkway and Safeway at 5:30 pm so all units must be at Ida Lee Park before then.
