Pianist and vocalist Jenny Wilson is originally from Queens, New York. Her jazz trio with her husband and bassist Nathan Wilson is in high demand for club and concert dates in the Mid –Atlantic region. Jenny is rapidly gaining recognition as a notable jazz pianist/vocalist and composer. Jenny and Nathan will be joined by their son Evan Lintz for their show at B Chord Brewing in Winchester, VA. He is currently drumming with musicians in the DMV and is working on independent music production. He has been a member of Fletchers Grove, Moogatu, Delta 9 and most recently Electric Love Machine.
Jenny has a Bachelor of Music performance degree in classical flute from the University of Southern Maine. Studies with jazz mentor pianist Art Lande brought Jenny to Switzerland where she lived for twelve years. Touring with local and U.S. jazz musicians she was featured at the Zurich Jazz No Jazz Fest and also in the Jazz Zeitung magazine in Munich. She received her Master of Music degree in Jazz Pedagogy from West Virginia University. Along with her musical performances Jenny has been showing paintings and prints at exhibits and recently won an award for a painting from the West Virginia Dept. of Culture and History Emerging Artists Juried Exhibition.
