If you’re interested in photography and history, The National Sporting Library and Museum is the perfect place to spend your Saturday morning. After a coffee reception, Jo Tartt Jr, collector of The Horse and the Camera collection, will visit with guests and lead a tour of this fascinating exhibit, which features vintage, equine photographs taken between 1870 and 1960. Learn the history and obsession of capturing the horse at rest and in motion since the advent of the camera.
Calling all chocolate and port lovers! Head to Leesburg Vintner on Saturday, March 3rd for a chocolate and port tasting. Not only will you indulge in four ports and four chocolates, you’ll also be benefitting the Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers as 20% of each sale is supporting this great organization!
Do you love Merlot? If so, Breaux Vineyards is offering a Merlot Vertical Tasting on Saturday, March 3rd at 12:00 p.m. Delight in the company of others as you discuss and sample various vintages of Merlot with winemaker, Josh Gerard. This will be an educational, interactive and fun demonstration feautring eight wines paired with a three-course gourmet meal and a dessert truffle.
