Crickets chirping, the song of the ice cream truck, kids splashing in the pool – these are all sounds of summer. But there’s another sound that signifies summer for me – the sound of live music drifting through the evening air. The sun begins to set and the air starts to cool. Crowds of people wander out from the air conditioned indoors carrying blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets. Everyone gathers at a scenic spot and the concerts begin. These are the nights that we long for in the cold of winter and it’s time now to take full advantage of summer concerts before they’re gone again.
