You ever hear those people that say "I love running. It gives me such a rush and it's so great"? Yeah, I don't get it either. I'm not a runner and have never really enjoyed it, but after hearing about all of the running clubs that meet at breweries on the LoCo Ale Trail I might try to get into it! A handful of Loudoun breweries are home to running clubs that are not only about getting shape, but also focused on enjoying delicious local brews. If you're a runner, or someone who is willing to run for brews, check out the groups and their schedules below:
Come one, come all to Old Ox Brewery on Tuesday nights at 6:30 and Saturday mornings at 10:30 to join the Trottin' Oxen running group as they explore the Washington & Old Dominion Trail and finish it off with a good time and a great brew! Find out more about what they are up to on Facebook.
They may be small, but they are mighty (and thirsty). The Pint Chasers Running Club meet at Loudoun Brewing Company in Leesburg on Thursdays at 6pm and Sundays at 11:30am. Run through the streets of Downtown and on the Washington and Old Dominion trail and be rewarded with some great brews. All paces and distances are welcome!

Black Walnut Brewery's running club focuses on having fun. Their "fun runs" are held on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. Meet your fellow runners on King Street and set off on a new adventure followed by a locally craft brew, of course.
The Lost Rhino Retreat plays host to the Rhino Chasers running club on Tuesday nights at 6pm. Join the club and receive 10% off purchases at the brewery after your run through Brambleton! Check out Lost Rhino Retreat's website for all of the details on membership and how to join.
If you are up for the brewery running challenge, make sure to share your experiences with us by using #LoCoAleTrail and #LoveLoudoun
