Summer of Love

Dairy lovers make your milky way to the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum’s third annual Dairy Day on Saturday, June 1st! In honor of Dairy Month, hang out with members of the local dairy industry, befriend cows and calves, enjoy ice cream with a Virginia Dairy Princess and blast to the past to learn about the history of dairy in Loudoun County. “Cheese” Louise, we can’t wait to celebrate!

Nothing is real… except our love for one of everyone’s favorite gifts from Mother Nature — strawberries! Head to Wegmeyer Farms on Sunday, June 2nd and indulge in fresh berry picking and fun activities for the whole family. Tying in this Beatles classic, this event will highlight our amazing local produce offerings while providing a true fun-on-the-farm experience for attendees!

Take a Ride on the Artistic Side

The 14th Annual Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour offers a weekend of art, shopping and relaxation. Meet more than 60 talented artists as you wind through the scenic countryside and historic villages of Loudoun County. Enjoy paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber, sculpture and more! Take this unique opportunity to talk personally with the artists, purchase artwork, view demonstrations and exhibits, or win a door prize! And the best part: it’s all FREE!

For the Foodies

Come join Taste of Blue Ridge at Lansdowne Resort and Spa on Friday, May 31st for an Italian inspired al fresco farm dinner where healthy local ingredients will be combined with music and good vibes to kick off the summer. You can also taste a variety of wines Chef Marcus has chosen to pair with his food courses.

Head on out to Bluemont Vineyard and indulge in a guided macaron and wine pairing this weekend. While you enjoy three sweet and savory macarons expertly paired with three Bluemont Vineyard wines, you will feel like you’ve been transported to Paris, France!

Equestrian Enthusiasts

Visit the Middleburg Barn Equestrian Festival on Saturday, June 1st! Enjoy competitive show jumping, craft beer and wine tasting, live entertainment on two stages, an antique auto exhibition, pony rides for the kids and fantastic food from some of the best food trucks in the region! Upgrades available for beer and wine tasting and a festival After Party.

For the Wine Fanatics

The Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon is not just a running race, it’s a destination lifestyle experience. The event takes place on Saturday, June 1st in the renowned wine region of Loudoun County. The race starts and finishes at bucolic Doukenie Winery, the perfect venue for hosting the post-race Wine & Music Festival, presented by the Loudoun Wineries Association. This scenic, tree-laden course runs north of the winery on historic byways, passing vineyards, farms, ranches and estates along the way. Come experience the race of a lifetime as we welcome you to Virginia and DC’s Wine Country!
