It's the end of another long work week. And while I love my job (don't we all), I always look forward to spending another weekend in Loudoun. This time of year as Spring settles in and all of the flowers start to bloom, Loudoun's Weekend Guide is dedicated to vines, flowers and gardens. We hope to see you out and about this weekend at Breaux Vineyards 20th Anniversary, the 27th Annual Flower & Garden Festival and Historic Garden Week.
20th Anniversary Celebration
Happy 20th Breaux Vineyards! Come enjoy the fruits of their labor as they celebrate year 20 with a fun celebration of all ages. Enjoy wine tastings, live music with the Voodoo Blues Band, raffle items throughout the day, give-a-ways, chef demos, ribbon and cake cutting, craft vendors, face painting, and more! Bring your camera and take a ‘Selfie-Bration” photo while you're there!
27th Annual Flower and Garden Festival
Historic Downtown Leesburg will be in full bloom as lush landscapes and gorgeous gardens fill the streets. Over 120 vendors will be on display featuring landscape designs, gardening supplies, outdoor living items, plants, flowers, herbs and so much more! Stroll through the streets and take in the sights and sounds of spring-time.
Historic Garden Week
This year's annual tour will take you along the Potomac River to six beautiful estates in Leesburg. You may walk through five notable homes, some with spectacular river views and remarkable historic structures, as you make your way along the old north-south Carolina Road (now Route 15). Stone, brick and stucco mansions and restored barns provide the backdrop to these picturesque gardens for you to admire.
