You may know Loudoun for its incredible wine and craft beer offerings, or maybe its abundance of history and agriculture. But, did you know that Loudoun’s live music scene is also drumming up a ton of buzz?

That’s right, ladies and gents: today, we’re taking a deep ~jive~ into Loudoun’s music scene. If you’ve ever visited our county, you know that we move to a unique beat — it’s part of the rhythm of the Loudoun lifestyle. And while catching a show is one of our favorite pastimes year round, we’ve got to admit that live music and summertime go hand in hand. Whether it’s enjoying original tunes on a sunny day at a winery or brewery or swaying to classic covers on a warm evening downtown, there are so many ways to make Loudoun the soundtrack to your summer. Come out and experience Loudoun’s booming local talent, and we guarantee you’ll be singing our praises by the time you leave!

Below are just a couple of opportunities to
get your summer playlist rockin’ and rollin’:

Woostock in the Gap band

Step out to Dirt Farm Brewing on July 5th to catch live music by Americana singer/songwriter Gary Jay Hoffman! Enjoy specials and signature items from The Kitchen Workshop, while overlooking the Loudoun Valley from the patio.

Boogie on over to Winery 32 on July 5th and relax by listening to Willie White while watching some spectacular sunset views. Watching the sunset, listening to music, eating delicious food and drinking amazing wine makes for a pretty rockin’ time!

On July 7th, catch a live performance by Adriel Genet, a Franco-American singer, performer and composer, at Greenhill Winery & Vineyards. His repertoire of original songs are inspired by revival folk, retro, rock and classical music with a streak of contemporary pop!

Keep the party rockin’ and head to The Village at Leesburg every Friday and Saturday for the Plaza Party! Grab your favorite cocktail, beer or wine from 5 Tara, BurgerFi, Chefscape, Eggspectation, Firebirds, Plaza Azteca, The Conche, Travinia or Vino Bistro and ask for it to go! Bring it out to the Plaza to sip on while you enjoy the music. Now that is Drinking in the Good Life! This weekend features The Thistle Brothers on July 5th and Steven Page from Barenaked Ladies on July 6th.

Roll out to Leesburg’s First Friday on July 5th and August 2nd and experience everything Historic Downtown Leesburg has to offer! Enjoy live music throughout the evening, art exhibits, wine tastings and more! Plus, grapevine your way to The Town Green for the Acoustic on the Green Summer Concert Series every Saturday! This Saturday, July 6th will be Naked Blue.

Groove at Tarara Winery every Saturday for the Summer Concert Series! Dance under the stars on Saturday nights to the sounds of your favorite cover bands, such as The Reflex, Gonzo’s Nose, The Legwarmers, Bruce in the USA, Crack the Sky, Three Sheets to the Wind and more.

Grab a table at 868 Estate Vineyards every Saturday and Sunday, because live music is on the menu! The winery brings you the best in local talent singing rock, jazz, blues, reggae and much more throughout the summer.

Complete your summer playlist by going to The Lindsay VW Summer of Love Music Festival on August 17th at B Chord Brewing Co.! Jam out to our lineup of local and national musicians, singers and songwriters. Try our 50 Years of Love beer and wine and snag some Summer of Love swag. Plus, enjoy a groovy selection of food from local vendors. You don’t want to miss this awesome Summer of Love finale celebration!
