Military Wedding | photo by Robert Holley Productions, LLC

Do you know a deserving military couple who wants to get married? The Loudoun community wants to make that wedding day dream a reality!

Couples from across the country come to Loudoun each year to say "I Do" and now one deserving military couple will get a chance to enjoy a free wedding in wine country thanks to an initiative by one Loudoun County photographer and the local business community.

After receiving a Best Of Loudoun award from the local paper this year, photographer Robert Holley wanted to find a way to give back to his community. Living in a destination rich with military history, veterans and active duty members, Robert decided it was America's service members who he wanted to thank. Robert formed Loudoun is for Lovers and united almost 20 local vendors to provide one lucky couple an unforgettable day. Everything from the food and wedding planner to the flowers, transportation and music will be provided.

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place Sunday November 17, 2019 at Kalero Vineyard in Purcellville, Virginia.

The contest winner can invite 100 guests including:

  • 3 Bridesmaids
  • 3 Groomsmen
  • 1 Flower Girl
  • 1 Ring Bearer

Ford’s Wicked Catering will provide the food, Pure Perfection Catering the desserts and Sweetz Bakery the wedding cake. Amy Thunell will be the wedding coordinator, while Dream Day DJ’s and Tip Top Photobooths will provide entertainment during the reception. Salon Montage will take care of the wedding party’s hair and makeup while The Valley Bride will handle the tux and dress. Transportation will be provided by Point to Point Limo, invitations will come from Curious Fox Press, and Big Rock Art & Design Studio as well as Gallop Web Services will help with graphics and web design. Flowers will be provided by Rick’s Flowers, the officiant will be Donna Ruland of Any Time, Any Place Marriages, Bella Villa will help with decor and Robert Holley will do all the photography. The package also includes a post-wedding escape to L'Auberge Provencale.

To enter the contest, one member of the couple must be active duty or enrolled at a military school. Interested couples should submit an essay by March 31, 2019 on why they are deserving of this ultimate wedding giveaway.
