This week, on Friday February 26, one of Loudoun’s signature music events returns: the Bluegrass and Folk Music Jam. Now in its seventh year, the Jam is an organic, must-see, multi-generational event where people can play their instruments (or just listen) to all styles of acoustic music from bluegrass to blues, and folk to Celtic – a family-friendly mix of music and fun. Held the last Friday of every month from 6pm to midnight at the Hillsboro Old Stone School in Hillsboro, the Jam draws musicians and audiences from all over the region, including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and surrounding counties in Virginia. Visitors are welcome to bring an instrument and join the jam!

BBQ dinner by Savior Fare, cash bar of beer and wine, deserts, and more are offered. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person with children free. For more information, check out or call 540-338-5050.

The next Jams will be held March 26, April 30, and May 28.
