The Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association has been nominated for the 2008 Emmy Awards for our tourism videos!! The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is a nonprofit, professional organization. The Academy's Emmy Award is the industry's benchmark for the recognition of television excellence.

Our video features the history of Oatlands, a National Trust Site that features an 1804 Greek Revival and a four acre English terraced garden. Out of nine entries, our Visit Loudoun Heritage Series Video was one out of three that were nominated for the 2008 Emmy Awards.
