Village of Philomont

The village of Philomont is located along Snickersville Turnpike in Western Loudoun County.  You will find the Philomont General Store, circa 1913, owned by Madeline and Mark Skinner.  It's said that actor Robert Duvall enjoyed cold sodas on the front porch of this authentic country store when he lived just down the road.  Inside the old building, where residents can also collect their mail at the village post office, tall shelves are chock-a-block with groceries and essentials like motor oil, but there's also room for gourmet items, Virginia wines, and unique crafts made by local artisans.

Across the street you'll find J. Patrick House Bed & Breakfast, which offers visitors a comfortable and shady porch to soak up the atmosphere of this hamlet.
