Town of Lovettsville

Lovettsville is Loudoun's northernmost incorporated town and its third largest. Founded in 1733 by German farm families who migrated south from Pennsylvania, the town has worked extremely hard to protect its rural character. In 1979, the town opened the Lovettsville Historical Society Museum, which promotes the town's history.
Unique dining opportunities include Patowmack Farm's "Dinner in the Garden" which offers diners an opportunity to enjoy organic farm-raised cuisine and spectacular views of the Potomac River and beyond.
B&Bs in this region include Georges Mill Farm Bed & Breakfast, a Civil War era stone house and a 200-acre farm that offers horseback riding.
Lovettsville has an annual Oktoberfest and is known for its spectacular July 3rd celebration. (Yes, it is the third. The town is always the first in the county to celebrate July 4th!)
