Village of Ashburn

Ashburn is a newer planned community and is most well-known as the headquarters for the Washington Redskins football team. Bordering the W&OD trail is the former Partlow's General Store, now owned by Carolina Brothers Pit Barbeque.  Serving up Eastern North Carolina-style barbeque, this local landmark also stocks sodas, candy, and snacks for visitors arriving by bike or car. Ashburn also boasts an award-winning brewery and restaurant, Old Dominion Brewery. The Ashburn Ice House offers two regulation-size hockey rinks and state-of-the-art ice skating facilities.
