Located on Route 50 between Gilbert's Corner (at the intersection of Rt. 50 and Rt. 15) and Middleburg, Aldie is home to several wonderful shops and the Aldie Mill, which survives today as Virginia's only known gristmill powered by twin overshot water wheels. Aldie Mill is open to the public from April through October and features a renowned art show and sale in June.
Not to be missed in Aldie is the Little Apple Pastry Shop, a bakery that draws visitors from around the region.
Aldie has an annual Harvest Festival in October.
