The Visitor Center Discovery Room introduces this National Register, Civil War, and Virginia Birding & Wildlife Trail listed park. Hike, fish, picnic, and explore nature and history here. Take a self-guided tour of the park's historic district and walk the road that American Indians, and later, George Washington frequented. See the Civil War Signal Station and learn about its role in the war. Tour other historic sites on the property and enjoy hands-on nature experiences during special events throughout the year.
