Hotel Sierra Washington Dulles
By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Was there for a wedding and we ended up booking an extra night. The suite was huge, bed was beyond comfortable and the free breakfast buffet was outstanding. Our friend's wedding was beautiful and the staff really seemed to care about us as guests - very helpful and accommodating. We have recommended this hotel to our employers for business travel and also to our friends and family. In fact, my boss stayed here just last week and was just as impressed as we were - he is now a convert from those chain hotels. Will definitely recommend to anyone!
Country Comfort Bed and Breakfast
EVEN BETTER THE SECOND TIME AROUND!!! We could have stayed in the fabulous bed all day if it didn't mean we would miss enjoying the rest of the absolutely beautiful suite and relaxing atmosphere. We loved it so much - we came back again this year. The owners - Shari and Mike are very accommodating, make you feel like honored guests and deliver a breakfast that is as delicious as it is bountiful. My 3 year old twins loved the extra touches that were made especially for them as well.
Magnolias at the Mill
My wife and I had dinner on Saturday 5/24/08. We are from North Wales, a suburb 25 miles north of Phila. It was our first trip to Loudoun wine country and we were doing our own wine tour; we saw the name and the story in the Loudoun Food & Wine booklet (which is a great book!). Magnolia's was excellent and we will definitely return. Below are our selections. Baked Salmon in Parchment Fresh Tomato, Lemon, Broccoli & Zucchini, Parsley Red Bliss Potatoes 24.00 Roasted Breast Of Chicken Sun Dried Tomato Polenta, Spinach, Madeira Sage Sauce, Italian Sausage, Tomato Fondue 18.50
Bluemont Vineyard The Shop Lore
What a fantastic experience! The winery is lovely, the wine is wonderful & the view is amazing! Family friendly atmosphere with great personalities pouring your samples. Love the PIG which is their Norton wine. If you have a chance to sample a bit of the fruit wines you are in for a pleasant surprise. Don't be scared, they are wonderul with just a hint of fruit. The gift shop "Lore" is totally different than your typical winery gift shop. Will be back for sure!
La Villa Roma
Great family restaurant. Friendly service. Favorite pizza! New decor and expanded menu -Often packed during the week. We visit at least once a week!
Leesburg Restaurant
Great casual place for the whole family! Delicious comfort food including milkshakes, tuna melts and even a side of veggies! Be sure to try the famous Peanut Soup!! Enjoy!
Blue Ridge Grill
The best food & atmosphere in Loudoun. Eat there at least 1 a month & have never been disapointed. Great service, which hard to find these days.
Bacchus Cafe
I have dined there 5-6 times & have had good food & good service & not so good food & lousy service. Not very consistant.
Restaurant at Patowmack Farm (The)
We spent Valentines evening at Patowmack Farm. The food was delicious, unique, imaginative, and organic. The service was attentive, warm, funny, knowledgeable, and memorable. The atmosphere was romantic, stunning, and relaxing. Our 5 course meal was paired with wines that made the tastes conversational. What a brilliant experience, but be prepared to spend some time and money while visiting this memorable restaurant.
The Dock at Lansdowne
We love this place. It does not matter if it is lunch, happy hour or dinner, the service is always outstanding and the food is delish! It is obvious that these guys have many years of experience serving a great product at a reasonable price and we are lucky to have them in Loudoun County. Keep up the good work.
Kobe Japanese Steakhouse - Sterling
Excellent restaurant. The sushi/sashimi is fresh and well presented. The show at dinner is entertaining. Young children are made to feel welcome - although the fire on the grill during the show can be intimidating. Recommend it.
Fireworks Wood Fired Pizza
Fireworks is a great addition to the Leesburg dining scene. The sleek, modern dining space has tons of atmosphere in a cozy space. I've had their pizza several times and its baked perfectly and their crust has just enough seasoning and crunch to make it a true standout (they must have borrowed some baking tips from Tuskie's and their great ciabatta bread). But, you cannot go wrong with their Pepperoni Roll and a bowl of their Fire Roasted Organic Tomato Soup, which has just the right amount of kick. Can't wait to go back.
Mama Lucci's
I regularly get a craving for Mama Lucci's chicken kabob platter and their Greek salad - yum! The food is consistently good, and the service is attentive.
Magnolias at the Mill
My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary and it was truly an evening to remember. Service and food were excellent. Will definitely be back again!!
