Cooperative Marketing Fund

The LCVA’s Tourism Cooperative Marketing Fund was created to assist Loudoun County businesses and organizations in funding tourism promotion programs such as advertising, brochures, websites, and other promotions that will attract visitors to Loudoun County and its jurisdictions.  It is a matching program with maximum payout up to a $1 for $1 match.  Applications are accepted twice a year and are evaluated based upon the following criteria:

• Programs must directly impact the tourism and travel industry of Loudoun through promotion to out-of-county and out-of-state visitors.
• Higher priority will be given to those projects that partner with hotels and/or B&Bs and attract overnight visitors during periods of need.
• Proposed uses must be compatible with the programmatic elements of the LCVA and the Tourism Destination Strategy.
• Applicants must have a tracking mechanism to measure effectiveness.
