Tourism Marketing Leverage Fund
The deadline to apply for the current round of funding from Visit Loudoun’s Tourism Marketing Leverage Fund is September 30, 2010. The program is deigned to further extend the marketing efforts of Loudoun’s tourism industry, attract visitors, and increase visitor spending through partnerships and leveraged funds. A competitive application process enables Visit Loudoun to provide funding for those projects and programs that will have the greatest return on investment in terms of visitor spending. Visit Loudoun is seeking a Director of Public and Industry Relations to develop and implement Visit Loudoun’s overall strategic public relations program, and create and execute a national media relations program with the goal of generating earned media for Loudoun as a travel destination. Advertising available in Touring Guide to Loudoun, Virginia: DC’s Wine Country®
Visit Loudoun is selling advertising for the third edition of the culinary guide. The publication is designed to entice potential visitors to come to Loudoun and experience our food and wine. It will highlight wineries, destination restaurants, food and wine events, farmers markets, cooking classes, and more. Social Media "How To" Seminar
Visit Loudoun presented an “Introduction to Social Media” seminar on Wednesday, January 20th for Loudoun tourism industry professionals. The seminar gave an overview of the marketing benefits of popular social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr, and an introduction on promoting your business using those sites. LCVA becomes VISIT LOUDOUN

December 18, 2009: The Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association has unveiled a new corporate look.  Our incorporated name, the Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association, will not change, but we have branded ourselves as Visit Loudoun and have changed our logo. We will use Visit Loudoun and the new logo in all of our future communication with you and with our customers – in our emails, letters, reports, phone messages, websites, etc. Read more!
