August 2007

Going once, going twice, gone! This exciting sound will be a keystone of the LCVA Scholarship fundraiser on October 10th at the Embassy Suites Dulles North. Invitations are going in the mail this week. Please confirm your attendance so we can finalize the plans for this great event. You won't want to miss it! The auction items alone are enough to attract participants, but the networking and spirit of giving to our citizens and the tourism industry are worthwhile reasons to attend. Read more about it under the LCVA News in this eNewsletter.

Urgent Federal Legislative Alert: The Travel Promotion Act of 2007 needs your support. Senator Warner wants to hear from his constituents to know whether they favor this important tourism legislation. The LCVA has placed information about the legislation on our corporate website at this link. View the information and call or write your congressman and senators to urge them to take action on this legislation.
